As you can see I'm all about colour and warmth in photos, so I almost never shoot in monochrome. I also try to keep post-processing at a minimum.


I'm all about abolishing the definition of beauty so if you have a problem with any of my models you must go through me. True beauty is in the "imperfections" and I refuse to retouch photos in order to make someone look like a Barbie doll. I'd rather see what's really there.

NaNoWriMo

So I literally haven't used dA in over a month. I was working on writing a novel for NaNoWriMo. I used the description I wrote ("Cael" in my scraps) and managed to flesh it out into 63,000 words in 30 days. I'm massively impressed by how quickly I wrote, how little writer's block got to me and how well I formed a story from nothing. I will probably put it up on dA one day but it won't be any time soon and it won't be on this account. It's a wayyyyyy far away installment of a collaboration I'm hopefully starting next year with a friend so if that goes ahead we'll make a separate account for the things we make and this story will be added to th

Hiatus

As is probably very obvious, I'm away from dA at the moment.  If you can't tell how busy I am, keep in mind that I haven't even had time for a birthday party, which I will probably hold in late July, two months late haha. I do come and check notifications about once or twice a week though, so feel free to get in touch if need be, but nothing will be uploaded for a while. I've been busy shooting for a magazine called The Bare Truth, about girls' struggles with body image, which has been the most amazing, inspiring and enlightening experience for me, not to mention pushing me as a photographer and learning how to work within a studio environme
